Terms of Service
Last updated: August 2, 2026
These terms govern your use of NoChaser, a self-guided app for changing your relationship with alcohol. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. Please also read our Privacy Policy, Subscription Terms, and Medical & Crisis Disclaimer — they're part of the deal.
What NoChaser is (and isn't)
NoChaser is a self-help and wellness tool: daily check-ins, progress tracking, craving tools, journaling, educational content, an optional AI coach, and optional sharing with people you trust.
NoChaser is not a medical device, a healthcare provider, a licensed counseling service, or an emergency service. Nothing in the app — including AI coach responses — is medical advice. See the Medical & Crisis Disclaimer for important safety information, including the risks of stopping alcohol suddenly.
Age requirement
You must be at least 18 years old to use NoChaser.
Your account
- Keep your login credentials secure — you're responsible for activity on your account.
- Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
- One account per person; don't share accounts.
Acceptable use
Don't use NoChaser to:
- Harass, threaten, or harm anyone — including people in your support circle or people who invite you to theirs.
- Attempt to access other users' data or probe, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the service.
- Send spam or abusive content through supporter features (encouragements, shared notes).
- Do anything illegal.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You can stop using NoChaser and delete your account at any time from Settings.
Your content
Your journal entries, check-ins, and other content remain yours. You grant us only the limited license needed to store and display that content back to you (and to people you explicitly share it with) as part of operating the service.
Our content
The NoChaser name, design, lessons, and software are owned by NoChaser and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, resell, or redistribute them.
Limitation of liability
We work hard to keep NoChaser reliable and accurate, but the app is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, NoChaser and its team are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before a claim. In plain terms: NoChaser is a supportive tool, and important health and life decisions should always involve qualified professionals — we can't accept liability for decisions made based on app content.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where NoChaser's operating business is registered [to be completed based on business registration]. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product evolves. For material changes we'll give you notice in the app. The date above reflects the latest revision.
